I called last week to schedule maintenance to my aftermarket stereo equipment. I had called Tunes and Tints before calling Blvd and I was shocked they were trying to rip me off for a 15 minute service. Jon helped me over the phone and I came in today. I had some after market sound deadening work performed by Jon and crew at Blvd Customs on my 2019 Tiguan, I vehicle I like very much, but found to be noisy, especially in the driver's seat. I have had this sort of thing done in the past, but this was by far the most dramatic difference, in part thanks to a product they use by FOCAL(Check it out!) and a few little tweaks to the stock speakers. Anyhow, the noise levels at highway speeds are dramtically reduced, and the stock speaker now sound quite good. I insulated all 4 doors and the floor pan from the front to the back of the rear seats( I opted for no 3rd row seats at vehicle purchase). MONEY WELL SPENT. Jon sent me progress pics, and Mikey, one of the installers who handled the install was extremely easy to work with. The vehicle was finished a couple hours early to boot. The customer service here is fantastic. I ordered a backup camera online for my vehicle and decided that this place was a solid choice for the installation based on all of the positive reviews. They were having some difficulty with the installation, but they went above and beyond taking additional time out of their day to make it happen. Jon was also doing research online and even attempted to contact the manufacturer of the camera to help with troubleshooting. Ultimately, they were self-sufficient and able to successfully install the camera. I really appreciated the level of effort that went into their work. I have dealt with Blvd. Customs for years. You won’t find a better place in central Florida. You might find cheaper but you get what you pay for. I tried the cheap route a few times and always ended up going back, which in the long run cost me more time and money than if I would have went to them in the first place. Lesson learned. LOVE MY CAR even more! Last April I wanted a stereo in my new car. Didn’t know ANYTHING about them. Found Blvd. Customs of Lakeland on-line after Best Buy blew me off and I stormed out of their door. Jon was very patient, informative and worked well with me. Then, I also added a front and back camera, radar detector, Top Notch Security Alarm, remote start and, one heck of a Sound System! Sometimes I’m technology disadvantaged and it took me awhile to figure out how the radio system worked (maps, MP3, satellite radio, etc.). As the months flew by and I understood things more, I became acutely aware of what a GREAT job Master Chin and Magic Mike did installing everything. Last month I had custom turn signal blinkers put on my dash as I couldn’t see mine. Now no one yells at me “Your turn signal is on!” Funny thing, if best buy had taken the time they could had a lot of business from me. Read reviews on Blvd Customs and decided to go in and talk to them about updating my car audio. Talked to Jon on what I was looking for. I have a 2005 TBird and was not sure if I could get everything I wanted done. After talking to Jon Decided to have them install a pioneer 8400nex head unit with rear camera and front camera. Dropped my car off on Friday, they gave me call a few hours later and said it was done. Went in to pick it up Jon went over a few things with me. Syncing my phone up for CarPlay then said take it home try it out come back Monday with any questions I have. The instal was excellent you would think it came from the factory like this. Went back in Monday Jon made sure all my questions were answered. I am so glad I had them do this install for me. Hello my name is Julius and I visited "Blvd Customs Of Lakeland" roughly about 1 to possibly 2 years ago. My purpose for my visit was to install a Amp for my music for great sound which indeed was Awesome! However, I come to find out through all my endeavors in finding the root cause on why my engine light that has not ceased to obfuscate? is due to nails being driving directly where my gas tank is located (where grounding the wiring took place). I did not contact anyone as I was unaware that this could have been a problem as it is not typical that fuel tanks are a root cause of anything "let alone holes been driving into them" probably due to their stationary state. Nevertheless this does not take away from the hospitality or welcoming atmosphere at "Blvd Customs Of Lakeland" but it does impact the Education that pertains to "where to place things and where not to". My car is currently residing in the shop for this purpose and luckily I have build a great reputation with whom I do business with (pertaining to maintenance) that they are fair and reasonable due to the continuance business with them spending several thousands of dollars with the company. By no means is this to sabotage a company's reputation but more of recommendations for future occurs as everyone might not be so receptive to work that is incomplete or done with flaws while not understanding that no one is a "5" all the time as there is always room for improvement. :)- JASON Lukes. 5/11/2018![]()

Well I had went to another car audio installer and they told me that I had to pay 400 just to look at what could be my problem . And if it was my manifold for my stereo it would be anouther 400. So I walked out and called Blvd customs . Instantly I was help !! Was told to bring my car in and he would look at it for 45$ !! Way better than 400! Then when I take my car there I waited for only about 20 min and they had it fixed!!! A professional and knowledgeable small business. I was extremely impressed with Jon and his team. Customer service was solid. Answered all my questions...and I had a ton. The installer was personable and did a fantastic job. I took my wife's new Mazda CX9 the day after we bought it because I wanted the paint protection film installed on the front before any bugs or rocks had a chance to hit it. If you look at the front of a CX9 it's very complicated and to think I was going to try it myself...the job they did is flawless!!! After the job was done, I drove away knowing I've got complete UV protection for the inside of the car and that the front is completely protected by the paint film. When factoring the service, expertise, and quality work...I definitely got my money's worth. I included a picture of the front hood so you can see for yourself... the front 1/3 of the car has the clear film. Bug guts come off so easily. I had the side view mirrors done as well. My class C sprinter RV was much to noisy in the cab. I brought my RV in to see what could be done to quiet the ride. John, the owner went through step by step on what materials and where they could be installed. We left the RV and they went to work. The ceiling, doors and floor were all sound proofed. Had new speakers installed on an older Lexus we had years ago. Fast efficient job done and they sounded great. Fast forward to 3 years ago and they tinted the windows on our Q5. Did a great job again and done very efficiently. Three years later, today, they brought in Terry to do a complete exterior and interior detailing for the same Q5. Quick service and quality work. After much research I had my vehicle's windows tinted here. My primary concern was quality and functionality over looks (although, it had to look good as well). They did an excellent job and were very thorough explaining the particular options available and their features, while completing the job faster than originally anticipated. Blvd Customs installed Llumar CTX 15 CH and although it came out lighter than expected, I was actually very pleased it did. Hey I just have tell you that unlike what you are probably going to get installed my experience was from bad choices not good ones. So not a new stereo or window tint. I went to get an ignition interlock device installed on my car due to dui. The staff treated me like a customer instead of a drunk or a criminal and they did not have to because you have know choice in the matter. In return as soon as this thing is off my vehicle and can afford some window tent that is where I will go. I can only imagine a great experience. The job than they did in my differents cars and trucks was excelent, BUT I identified 2 critical problemas than they have and need to fix. First, the warranty waiting time than the aftermarket parts company have and Second, the aftermarket parts for itself. They installed a rear view camara in my Excursion and brokedown in less than a year (aftermarket part company warranty) they said than they order the replacement and will be there in 2 weeks; i still waiting for more than 5 weeks and they installed a wheel control and every 2 weeks the volume control at the wheel dont work, i decide to stop loosing my time asking them to fix it, as a fact, right now is not working. Conclusion, excelent job and excelent custumer service, but bad aftermarket parts companies for the price than they ask. For my bad experience with the aftermarket parts than they have i recommend just to do your tints with them. UPDATE: The owner called me today to let me know than the new rear view camera arrived today and will be install it tomorrow morning. Wow..what a great place with outstanding service. Jon and the crew stepped up to help with a near impossible situation to outfit a Defender 90. Here's the catch...the truck is in Costa Rica! Jon helped pick out the best equipment, included extra parts and tools that he felt we may need, made a diagram for the install, and was even available to help when we ran into issues with the install. Blvd Customs did an excellent job of installing a Pioneer touch screen audio/video system with a rear view camera in my Chevy Suburban. The work was done quickly, and all of the components including the radio unit, wiring harness specifically designed for Bose and On Star, and the rear view camera were in stock at their facility. Expert advice was provided to select the equipment suited to my needs and to guide me in using the system. These guys are the best! John and his guys (Rob and Mike) are very knowledgeable, highly skilled and are all about service. I just had them do a custom install on my second Land Cruiser purchase (they did my first one too) and I couldn't be happier. I had sound proofing applied to the floor, headliner and doors of my vehicle. The results are fantastic. The A/C operates at a lower speed, diesel vehicles engine noise does not penetrate the vehicle, most if not all roads noise is gone. Ever since I turned 16 and got my first car the first thing I can remember wanting to get was a quality car audio system in my vehicle so everybody at school thought it would be “cool”! As years past I tried doing my own installs, various car audio shops in Polk County and a few over in the St. Pete area.
